CNN —On January 7, a group of Kansas City Chiefs fans got together to watch the last game of the regular season.
“I got a call at work telling me that my son had passed,” said Jennifer Marquez, mother of one of the men.
“And that they found him frozen in the backyard.”Her son, David Harrington, 37, was found dead outside a friend’s home in the Kansas City Northland.
“If there was something he could’ve done to help them, he would’ve done it.”But more than two weeks later, the mystery continues to puzzle the Kansas City community.
Eventually, she called the Kansas City police.
